Excellent Questioning
Getting down to what people really mean
Training in Sydney Jan 08

This course is part of a series of in-depth modules you can run in your organisation now.

If you're after the essentials of NLP, then consider Cindy Tonkin's intensive 5 day corporate NLP program, Sydney January 2008.

About the module: Excellent Questioning

If you would like to listen insightfully, get to the real meaning of what people say, and then discover what they truly want, then these 2 days are for you.

Excellent questioning is essential in any briefing process - a badly-taken brief can make a project last forever, while a good one sets you up for success. Insightful questioning, then, is a key skill for all managers, coaches and consultants.

This 2 day course focuses on skills such as how to:

  • get on with people so they’re receptive to your questions and suggestions
  • listen with purpose
  • guide people to discover their own meaning without directing them
  • set realistic and well-formed outcomes
  • ask something when you don’t know what to say
  • redirect unmotivated colleagues and staff with the right question
  • get people to create their own answers.
